Either figure lands inside the band that eldershoppe.com, thenri.org and innow.org all name as the usual starting point, 6 to 8 ounces per piece. Handle length, handle diameter and any dishwasher temperature ceiling are not stated by the maker in the data we hold.

This set suits adults with mild to moderate hand tremor who can already lift a normal fork and want more inertia against the shake. It includes a serrated table knife, a latex-free declaration, and a 60-day guarantee per rehabmart.com.

We separate maker claims from retailer claims, because they do not match. The table below shows each published figure and the host that published it.

Note the gaps. No handle diameter, no handle length, no alloy grade, and no wash temperature ceiling. Competing pages do publish those numbers: performancehealth.com states a 4 in handle at 1.5 in diameter and a 125 F dishwasher ceiling for Sure Grip, and independentliving.com states 1 in diameter at 4.5 in long. Vive's advantage in this group is the serrated knife and the stated latex-free status.

Wash guidance is missing here. The maker does not state a dishwasher temperature limit in the data we hold. Two comparable products do: performancehealth.com and independentliving.com both cap their weighted handles at 125 F (52 C), and Bonuci marks its set hand wash only. Until Vive publishes a figure, wash on the low rack and dry the handles by hand.

The returns picture needs reading twice. rehabmart.com lists a 60-day guarantee and, on the same product, marks the item non-returnable. Confirm the policy with your seller before you buy, because a 7 oz set is a trial, not a certainty. thenri.org states plainly that in later stages of Parkinson's, weighted utensils may no longer be effective, and that extra weight may not give enough stability for severe tremor or rigidity.
